Os camera features
The IDT Os camera series is a new digital high-speed camera platform designed to operate in the most demanding environments. Each camera is 200G crash proof with resolutions of Os4 (1024 x 1024), Os7 (1920 x 1280), Os8 (1600 x 1200), Os10 UHD (3840 x 2400) can operate in extreme conditions while providing reliability, data integrity, small size (only 74 x 86 x 95mm, lightweight (only 0.59 kg or 1.3 lbs) and immunity to hi-G shock and vibration (up to Shock: 200G / Vibration: 40G – All axes) making it well suited for the Automotive, Airborne, and Aerospace Industries.
Os cameras were designed to be the most compact using IDT in house designed sensors and electronics which allows these high speed video cameras of achieving very high frame rates (up to 8,000 fps at full resolutions and video frame rates up to 230,000 fps at reduced resolution). Each Os camera has 512GB of integrated non-volatile high speed solid state (SSD) flash memory which can be uniquely configured to operate in a number of modes, including normal, backup, streaming and mission modes.
Os cameras are compatible with our new miniHUB, which can control and power three Os cameras, via wired Gigabit Ethernet or wirelessly via the latest high speed wireless standard – dual-band 801.11ac, which provides faster real time viewing and download performance than a typical Gigabit Ethernet connection. The miniHub is also fully crash rated for onboard camera crash applications.
All IDT cameras (past and present including Red Lake cameras) can be programed and operated with the (freely provided) industry leading IDT Motion Studio software or Motion Inspector software.
